If you’d like to play Pokemon Go with children at your local hospital, contact the hospital to find out how you can volunteer. Due to privacy laws that protect hospital patients, volunteers generally must be registered and trained in order to interact with patients.
We also recommend you use the Go For Good platform as a means to volunteer for family members and close friends who may be bedridden or hospitalized.
HOW TO PLAY
In order to play remotely with your friend, you'll need the following ingredients:
THE PLAYER OUTSIDE
THE PLAYER INSIDE
Download and create an account via Zoom. This is one of many apps that allows video conferencing and mobile device screensharing. Whatever app you use, make sure it can do both things.
The outside player will need either a wi-fi transmitter, or create a mobile hotspot with their phone.
